From the date 17.10.2023 to the date 19.10.2023 in Skopje, North Macedonia held Transnational Project Meeting of Erasmus+ project “Love music,Love yourself” and with register number 2021-PL01-KA220-SCH-0000344355  During these days, in the meeting of the project on this date, all the activities carried out so far were discussed: LTT activities, curriculum and guide book of project, dissemination of the project, completing the beneficiary module of Erasmu+ project. The educational system in Macedonia was also presented by PhD cand. Abil Baush, numerous visits were made to state institutions where people with special needs are treated, educated and educated such as: State special school with resource center “Idnina” where we were introduced to the school, the resource center and how students with special needs are educated and developed in this resource center. There, there are art therapy cabinets, psychomotor re-education, speech therapy cabinets, special education cabinets, Montessori cabinet, music therapy cabinet where they showed us the impact of music therapy on students with special needs where this has a very positive impact on students. As we know Music Therapy is the clinical & evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program. Music therapy interventions can address a variety of healthcare & educational goals: - Promote Wellness - Manage Stress -Alleviate Pain - Express Feelings - Enhance Memory - Improve Communication - Promote Physical Rehabilitation We had a visit to the State Hospital in Macedonia, to the Institute of Speech Therapy and Rehabilitation, which is part of the health system. There PhD. Ana Popovska showed us how the institute works, what work the therapists do there and what benefits people with special needs have from this institution. We visited the Neurofeedback cabinet where we saw the effect this has on children's brains, especially in increasing focus, which is used in children with ADHD, Autism, hyperactivity, etc. Sensory room, connecting art therapy and music therapy, early intervention for children aged 0-3 years and others. Where we were shown the importance of all towards people with special needs. We also had visits to the historical places of Skopje, the old part of Carshisa, the new part of Skopje, natural beauties such as Canyon Matka, Treska, River Vardar, etc.
